Anybody on Around the island today see that shite. Looks like two trucks parked a little to close to the water and the tide came up on them. A dodge was trying to pull them out whe I left, so I'm guessing they are still stuck

There are a few guys that all they do is pull people out. I saw a dodge Durango doing it a few weeks back. It's a pretty good gig if you think about it. There are a ton of cars out there that get stuck.

I've heard there's also been a few guys trying, yet unsuccessful, to launch boats from the beach at Elmers.

A few years ago when that tough mudder was in the Bonnet Carre Spillway, which is close to my house, when it rained horribly and all the city folk in civics got stuck. I did some freelance work and made a KILLING considering I was only there for about 90min and brought home about $500 cash. Plus met a bunch of hot chicks.

Was out there Saturday and saw some clown driving a new Camaro all the way out almost to the end. Have seen all kinds of crazy stuff.

We used to do that in high school after rainy LSU games.

When I was a kid we had a camper on Elmers island that we parked a little too close. Woke up in the morning to take a piss and stepped into water. Pulling that shite out was a pain in the arse.

T Tiger, what is the deal with the old Royals photo? That has to be 5 years ago?

They're pitchers. This thread needs pitchers of the cars stuck in the sand.

I was wondering if the pitchers were throwing screwballs, thus the trucks on the beach were "royally screwed."

I was in GI this weekend, I looked over and saw trucks with damn near wheels in water.

I was thinking I would have to go with someone to figure out the rules for that place, I would want to park my truck waaaayyyy further away than people were parking their Camrys.
