I keep going back and forth between the F150 and Tundra. It's a tough decision!

Add 100 to that number for this to fly on the OB.

I did too but stuck with yota.

Only concerns were gas mileage and price difference (which wasn't that different).

My FIL helped swayed me as he drives f150 and didn't recommend it.

I also bought for the long term reliability.

I'm not a Ford man so this is easy.

Having said that, I have always owned Chevy Trucks, but next year I plan to buy a new truck. If I were to buy today, it would be a Tundra. In all my research it just seems to be the better truck for the money.

Have you read about the Million Mile Tundra

A friend just got a new tundra after trading in his old one with 798k miles. 2nd engine though after first went out about 375k. Almost all of those miles were towing.

Also the guy still has an older Toyota with 475k miles on it.

If you can afford a Tundra, go that way, if cost is an issue go F150. That's what I did, and I'm overall happy.

I have bought 3 F-150's over the past year for my company, all with EcoBoost engines, two with 2.7 and one with 3.5
Very satisfied customer here. will never buy anything else.
2.7's have unbelievable power and great mpg

I have never owned a Tundra tho

I had a Tundra that I lost in the flood. I decided to save a little money and replaced it with a F150. I really miss my tundra and would get another in a heart beat if I could make the money work out.

If you're getting a new truck every 4-6 years, go f150.

If you're planning on keeping it longer than that, go Tundra.

Better to stop at gas stations than mechanic shops.

How much do you value gas mileage, ride comfort, and muted road noise. If the answer to all 3 is "I do not value that" the the Toyota is for you.

Though I am told the Toyota is more mechanically reliable and has a better resale value. Of course, I've never had an issue with F-150's I've owned and the way I take care of a truck (I am not gentle) not sure that ends up being that relevant for me.

Honestly, either ends up being a good truck for you, I think. I'm a Ford guy, though.

That's why a Tundra, Taco, and Landcruiser are parked in my driveway each night.

bought a tundra back in May after asking the same question above to the OB. I bought as much Tundra that I could afford, happy as can be, and cannot disagree with anything everyone above has said here today.

Tundra no question.

Ford gets better gas mileage but Tundra is the better truck. My company owns both.
