We caught about 10 yesterday. Only 2 were keepers. Biggest went 4 and a quarter. Caught on senkos.

One guy in the club tournament caught an 8.6 and a 6.9 all on suspended jerk bait. We were seeing suspended fish on the graph and never once thought to throw a jerk bait. Silly us.

We started fishing around 3:45. Pops whipped my arse. He caught one just under 4 on his second cast.

He then proceeded to catch 7 more all between 2-3 pounds with only one dink. All on a black/red yo mama in about 2 ft of water.

I threw senko, jigs, spinners, cranks, and tubes and did not get a bite. Gonna try some topwater in the morning. If that doesn't work I'm just gonna sit in the back of the boat with my box of fudge rounds and watch pops put on a clinic.

I think so. I'm not that familiar with all the names.

We fished around the state park. Then fished a few coves that would be just a bit north east of the state park in the same finger of the lake.

Reports of fish being caught at Housen.

From personal experience this past weekend. I can confirm this. They're in the buck brush shallow. And 15ft deep mark.

Fished Friday and Sat. Only got hit by one 15 minute shower on Friday. No lighting, so we kept fishing. Caught my biggest of the trip during the rain. I guess it was about a 3 pounder. Caught it on a senko.

My buddy's best was about 4. Caught it on a spinner bait.

All total, we caught 10 on Friday and 14 on Saturday.

Im still young enough to wake up with a boner but old enough to shoot blanks.

as for the fishing. The fish are on the banks spawning but our bigger females are still in the 15ft range.

A simple "like" of my post would have sufficed, but okay. It's exciting, I get it.

Look at my first pic. I'm across the cove (On the South side) from where you are talking about. I kept meaning to get over there and fish where you're talking about after we discussed it last year, but never did. We fished San Miguel, North TB State park, went back into some of the small pockets on the North side like you are going to Lanan on Friday. Saturday we went North of Converse, I knew the amount of boats around 1215 would be ridiculous.
