Yeah lots of docks.

We are in a dual console white triton.

It's tough today. Cold and windy with no sun. Pretty much all of the brush we fished last year is not even wet.

Nothing like a box of fudge rounds while watching cinnamon teal on the bend!

We're on em now.

If anybody is fishing up north, we're on buggy whips. Catching em in numbers now. Small feeders and bedding fish. Pops had a giant wrap him around the motor and got off.

Trick worms on shaky head seems to be catching the smaller fish but numbers.

1/2 ounce booyah jig crawfish color caught me one close to 3.

Zcraw and yomama have gotten some good bites. Biggest one was lost on a yomama. Dark colors.

Picture near top of that page. Maybe called something else here.

Haven't gotten any bites around stumps. They've all been around the whips.

The method I use on caddo lake and Toledo bend is what we like to call the triple P method (pump pump pause).

Another key to success is to avoid color choices allowing yourself to focus on presentation and profile of your chosen lure.

I will be on Toledo all week if anyone needs some specific pointers just ask. Tight lines buena vista

The morning was better than the afternoon for us and everyone we talked to here around the camps. The wind got up and the temperature dropped this afternoon making it tough fishing anywhere near open water.

The count was 9 keepers this morning. Missed 4, pops missed a really good one around the whips.

This afternoon we were just going as far back into creeks as possible just to catch a break from that cold arse wind. Ended up with 7 keepers, biggest about 2.5 pounds. They were still fun to catch because we had to downsize to light tackle. All caught on shaky head trick worms in dark colors. The light pumpkin and shad colors did not get a bite.

We saved the buggy whips for first thing in the morning. TD Choppa knows the spot now. He may or may not share

I prefer the Zoom Method on Caddo Lake. That's where you pump your rod to the beat of Little Boosie's "Zoom."

My clients are averaging 20+ a day dragging a motor oil worm off the banks. The bigger fish have not pulled up yet, so after a few hours of "catching" I'm spending my time graphing secondary points in the 15ft range. 1/8th oz weight and a trick worm is all you'll need. Look for me in my red skeeter in the back of housen tommorow.

Jarrold, you need to focus less on worm color. Key in on your presentation tactics, by using either my "PPP"method or possibly Roys "zoom" method.

Your tourney load dreams will cum true once you employ these tactics

Sorry I haven't texted you. It's been crazy. By the time we eat and clean up it's after 11. Did pretty good today considering the winds. Caught 17 keepers and 12 dinks. Dropped one at the boat about 5 because I was standing in the middle near the seats and couldn't keep him from spitting the hook. We laughed. We fished Housen and Indian mounds and caught everything deep until an hour before dark. Carolina rig lizards again. Fish are holding in deep water creeks mostly. They are ready to move up. Caught a few about to pop. Near the bridge a lot of the fish are skinny which makes me think a lot have spawned.
