FWIW OP - They 'fixed' the Benelli click in the Ethos and SBE 3 models  I have an Ethos and can confirm, it is damn near impossible for the bolt to not go back into battery. ...

Then the firing pin can't hit the primer and all you hear is a click. The test for this is to make sure th...

re: minimum lure weight for an ambassadeur - CFDoc
You may be doing all you can but the main thing is to minimize resistance as much as possible. After that, it could be getting into 'get what you pay for' territory. I know I throw weightless flukes, senko, trick worms, etc. a looong ways with quality rod/reel setups....

Last week (during that cold front), the water temperature was as low as 53 degrees in the back of Lanan for most of the day. I still think there's plenty of time left for more spawners to come up. ...

There's still a giant in there that my dad missed at the boat (wrapped him around the motor). Also, there are a ton of beds all along that stretch of whips. If they move back up, you can catch a lot of bucks....

Well our trip is finished. We had planned on fishing today but after 2 hours this morning of 39 degrees, 12+ mph winds, and no bites, we said F it and left.
LSUballs
I may have met your dad at the launch this morning. Was he fishing with other people and put in at the state p...

As far as lanan our spots have been a creek just to the right after you go under the big 1215 bridge, the buggy whips way in the back past the 191 bridge, and the main creek way way way back in lanan. All three spots have produced with the buggy whips being our best spot by far in both size and numb...

re: Toledo Bend: 10 days of fishing - CFDoc
Tougher day today. Pops only caught one keeper all day. I had a 4-14, 3-6, and 5 dinks. We got off the water around 4 cause one of my trolling motor batteries is going bad. So far I've bought a trolling motor, broke a transducer bracket (we've been fishing blind no side/down imaging since y...
