In clear water, bass can sometimes spawn in 8-10 ft of water. I fished Jocasse and Keowee for a few years and those fish would regularly spawn in 12+ ft. Down here, I'd say 5-7 ft would be 'deep.' Also, the spawn is far from completely over with. It's just percentage wise it may not be the ...
