A couple of us are making a trip for pheasants. First choice is Kansas if the bird number have increased from the drought, if that has not happened will are going to decided which way to head, depending on bird numbers....

I think this happened on Toledo Bend and i did not witness, but heard from someone that did.
Back when Toledo Bend was young some dude came to the La. side from Texas with a VERY over-horse-powered boat.
He wore a color coordinated jump suit matching his boat, trailer AND truck. He may have been a tournament guy cuz he had every decal known to man on his suit, boat and truck.
He backed the boat in and the motor was so big, my friend said his bow was pointing at a precarious angle with little free board at the stern.
Dude is really showing off, strutting around like a tom turkey in front of a bunch of hens. He swings out from the ramp and really stomps it. My buddy said the back end squatted down in the water and rose to mid boat The motor killed and there he sat. Had to get towed in to much derision from the peanut gallery.

I watched the full video yesterday. Looks like a faulty throttle position sensor or throttle stuck. He hit reverse pretty hard and then took off like a bat out of hell. His face was priceless though lol

Maybe he only had a hot foot before and didn't understand the whole hand throttle thing. I have actually had some issues with that going from bass to bay boats.
