re: Advice on shooting Woodies - tigers225
Like others said, have a friend walk the opposite side of the creek and push them towards you. They like to pile up in spots in the creek with a lot of cover/trash. Don't think you are going to sneak up on them cause they will more than likely see you unless you have very thick cover. I have been ab...

re: Would y'all hunt in a lock on without a harness - tigers225
Id rather have one and not need it then not have one and need it. If you know what i mean. Equipment breaks all the time and half the stands today are probably made in China. ...

re: I need some ideas/suggestions about bridge design(pics included) - tigers225
Most Louisiana roadway bridges are worst than this. Unless you're driving heavy equipment on it you should be fine....

re: Compound Bow Rec's - tigers225
I also have an old PSE from the early 90s and it is night and day. Bows have come a LONG way. I now shoot a Prime. I would look in to the Prime Ion. The parallel cam system is super smooth and illuminates cam lean. Prime bows are top sellers up north, but they haven't made an impression down here wi...

re: First bow purchase advice needed - tigers225
I would take the ATA length into consideration. I like to hunt in thick areas and will never go longer than a 30"-32". The Z2 seems to be a great bow from reviews....

re: Deer corn placed on the side of roads and highways?! - tigers225
So they put corn in the median so they can cross the road and potentially get hit by a car. Smart. That's one trash bag you don't want to hit....

re: Feral Hogs Cause $74-Million Dollars of Damage to LA Farms - tigers225
We've probably shot over 100 hogs in the past year. Usually used .22 or .44 mag close range, which gets the job done. The .22LR was just horrible unless the pig was little. Felt you were shooting a zombie that wouldn't go down. Long range the .223 and .300 seem to pass right threw the hogs and not s...
