I'd run it a good while before heading offshore. Like said before, sign up for SeaTow. Will at least give you some peace of mind if sheet hits the fan. Would at least have compass and radio. GPS can be on phone. We've gone out 10+ miles many times with just a compass before getting good electronics....

The 3.5 ecoboost gets great mpgs normal driving, but towing something heavy it goes to shite. Got 8 mpg towing 22ft trailer. If you tow a lot get the f250, if not get the six banger....

FYI, the RTIC 65 fits a sack perfectly. Its pretty tight though. So opening the plug should be enough air? I left the lid cracked just in case....

The worst was a sea of maggots pig in a broken chest freezer and second was also the FACES lab with the smell of dead bodies and human heads just hanging out. Wasn't awful, but the fact of knowing what you're smelling creeps me out. ...
