I was talking about old HWY1, not the stretch of HWY1 between Fourchon and Grand Isle.

The area NW of Fourchon is posted as wildlife sanctuary. No one is sure of the exact boundaries of the sanctuary though. . . the area I highlighted has signs saying to keep out though, so I know that is included. Not sure about where I put the question mark. . . that's the area my son and I fished last weekend and I didn't see any signs until we went a little further south (to where I put the northern boundary)

The area south of Hwy1 from Fourchon to Grand Isle is also highlighted as private property.

Took my buddy yak fishing today. It was his first time. Fishing was tough due to slack tide but the water was clean. Managed to catch 4. Great time on the water.

I've been back fishing near that area that is sectioned off on the google map a few times. I've seen no posted signs, no no trespassing signs, and have not been approached by the port authority.

And just heard today that port authority no trespassing signs are all over the place running back north up old la1 near fourchon.

Let's look at the forecast and plan it when there is 100% chance of thunderstorms. I'll bring the apple pie shine for DLauw.

Just warned us about the sanctuary. Pointed out the places we couldn't go past. Said the line kind of zigzagged. Also told us how expensive the ticket is to be fishing back there.

Anyone own the Jackson Big Tuna? Looking to possibly get a tandem rig and just saw this one at masseys. I know this board has good things to say about Jackson but anything specifically about the Big Tuna?
