Those are my go-to bass flies now, meat whistle and slump busters. They destroy and I always hook up when tossing them. The olive and the black ones do best for me.

This was a pretty gnarly storm. Multiple spouts and 16 miles from the launch haha.

Need help casting, anywhere in NOLA to go for help. I've watched a lot of videos on The YouTube but would more comfortable going to someone for pointers in what I'm doing wrong/right.

If ya'll fish Arkansas, this book is a must. Lots of detail and maps about specific areas.

Here's a link to my son's youtube channel. He is presently working at Henrysforkanglers.com for the summer out in Island Park, Idaho. If ya'll are out that way, stop in the shop. It's first class. They also offer guided trips. They are about 30 miles west of West Yellowstone, MT.

This was on Father's Day. My daughter wanted to catch a fish with her brother. This was a nice private stream in Idaho.

I saw pics of carp earlier. My son has a passion for them. I don't have his recent pics from this summer, but he caught this one in SE Idaho last summer.

These pond carp down here don't have scales the size of dinner plates like that one

The kid says the carp back home are much harder to catch. This is a good one he caught in the Sip.

The book has maps of all the rivers in AR and some of west TN if I remember correctly. I use to be a member and taught a rod building class a couple of times for them.

That must be a great time for your son. Prett amazing.

Close friend of mine's son is a guide at Yampa Valley River

Man that's a great video of the toccoa. I really need to figure out how to trout fish in Georgia while I'm here.
