It doesn't have a tang, can't mount stamped furniture on it, which excludes most aftermarket options.

Before you buy, check out Aimsurplus.com. They have a Serbian Zastava M70 that's priced at $530. I plan to buy this AK sometime this year. It's a nice rifle, made by a reputable company. Hope this helps. Either way, an AK is a good addition to anyone's arsenal.

You can put any AK pistol grip on it. The proprietary parts are the butstock and handguards which are not compatible with standard AKM parts.

My NPAP underfolder came in today.

I bought mine from Classic. I bought one years ago from Atlantic as well. Both did a fine a job.
The N-Pap is a well made AK. For the price it makes it excellent in my book. Made in Serbia, slightly modified by Centry, but not to the extent of the old Centry builds. Sturdy solid feel to it. And it's an AK. Can't go wrong with an N-PAP
