re: Illegal to spot light hogs in Alabama? - Flyin'Cajun
It is illegal since it still considered a game animal. The way to do it legally is to get a Wildlife Management Permit from the game warden. That's how we are able to hunt at night, using bait, lights, etc. ...

re: Hog attractant - Flyin'Cajun
Corn, with yeast, sugar and water. Let it sit in the sun for a week. Hogs love it. The only way to keep the other animals away is to put a tiny bit of diesel fuel in it. Hogs love it, deer and coons don't. ...

re: Summer Food Plots - Flyin'Cajun
My food plots are still going strong at this point. I'm starting to see a little bit more brown on the oats but overall I'm impressed with how well they've grown. Summer plots, I've been told that Chicory is a good one that'll keep the deer interested. I plan to do some more research on that. ...

re: Deer dogs on my property.... - Flyin'Cajun
For the record, I have no intention of shooting the pooches. Like I said in the original post, I like dogs. Not to mention, there's no telling what these country folk would do in retaliation. While I'm not scared of them in the least, I just like living in peace, if y'all know what I mean. Hopefully...

re: Deer dogs on my property.... - Flyin'Cajun
Considering we have a very healthy predator population of coyotes, foxes, and bobcats, the trapping idea would be very plausible. I may take that approach if it comes to that. Dog hunting ends on the 26th so I'm thinking this problem won't get solved until next year. I'm calling the timber company t...

re: Deer dogs on my property.... - Flyin'Cajun
Yeah, I though about shooting the dogs, but I've got a feeling that would start some serious shite with these guys. Plus, I love dogs. I've already put in a call to the local Game Warden but I haven't spoken to him yet. Deal with it...yeah, I'm not sure I can just let it go...not yet at least....

Deer dogs on my property.... - Flyin'Cajun
I was wondering if there's anything I can do about deer dogs running onto my property. I knew they were running dogs on the adjacent property and while I wasn't thrilled, what can I do, it's their lease. But....then I heard two or three running onto, then across my property chasing something. Fast ...

re: Well, if there was any doubt... Julio is the best WR in the league - Flyin'Cajun
Right, Julio wasn't the best receiver in the SEC, at least whenever PP7 was covering him. Amari is better than Julio and neither one is better than OBJ or Landry. ...

re: I want a 300BLK SBR - Flyin'Cajun
I own two .300 Blks and both are made by RedXArms. I've been impressed with their uppers and they are very reasonable. My SBR is 9.5 inches and it's very quiet. I went the trust route, the suppressor manufacturer (local company) assembled my rifle for me and engraved their name on it. It took 4 mont...

re: Tired of letting deer walk- Update on page 2 deer was poached. - Flyin'Cajun
Well, I hunt about 50 acres in SE Alabama and haven't seen a deer at all. My trail cam is capturing a bunch at night but nothing during the day. My camera recently captured a pic of a nice 3.5-4 year old 8 point with a beautiful spread. I'm concerned someone else will get him before I do. I pass...

re: Who Else is Pulling for Chaos Today? - Flyin'Cajun
I'd love to see complete chaos today. The only one I differ on is the MSU/Ole Piss game. If Bama loses (which they probably won't) and Ole Piss loses, Bama still goes to the SEC Championship. I don't care what happens, I just don't want Bama to win a damn NC....... Hopefully our boys can send Les...

re: Tell me what kind of hand gun to get... - Flyin'Cajun
It really depends on what you are comfortable with. I've been a Glock guy for a long time and own one in almost every caliber they offer. I recently stepped outside the Glock world and bought a Sig Sauer P320. I wasn't disappointed. This is Sig Sauer's first striker fired pistol and it was ma...

re: Alabama vs LSU Prediction Thread - Flyin'Cajun
Late in the 4th quarter, Bama leading 21-17. Fournette has his "Heisman Moment" when he breaks a 65 yard TD run and the Tigahs lead 24-21. Coker, attempting to lead a game winning drive is picked off by Jamal Adams, LSU wins. ...

re: Take a Stand: Fournette will have greater than or less than 150 yards vs Bama - Flyin'Cajun
I think LF7 gets around 135 yards and 2 TD's, thus keeping the streak alive. Harris throws for 220+ And a couple of TD's as well. I'm convinced it'll be a close game and Fournette will have that "Heisman Moment" as he breaks a long run to seal the win for the Tigahs! ...
