I have been paying around $17 for a box of 50 Winchester low recall 147 grain, but I want to put 200 or so rounds through my pistol next week at the range and was looking for something that was just as reliable but a bit cheaper.
Any suggestions looking to keep the cost of the 200 under $55

Ammunitiondepot.com
Blazer brass, 1000 rda, $200
Or just go to slickguns.com

I've put Ventura through my gun with no issues.

Blazer brass or commercially sold reloads. I've occasionally run across the MRE packs of Korean 9mm which seems pretty reasonable and runs fine.

blazer aluminum case is also cheaper
that or Winchester white box is about the best you can do unless you buy reman
just re read your OP...why on earth are you burning thru 147gr ammo at the range? standard 115gr is all you need to shoot at paper, there's no recoil there either unless you are shooting a derringer

Targetsports.com is a website that at the time I ordered had 9mm brass case for 9.99 a box with free shipping if you ordered 1000 rounds.

How does ordering online work?
The reason I shoot what I do is just out of comfort or habit. I just don't like much change so unless people tell me something different I just stick with what I have.
The Blazer Brass looks to be the ticket unless I can find some of the other stuff local

Just make sure the dumbass Academy kids don't sell you 9mm Macarov
Make sure the box reads 9mm Para, 9mm Nato, or 9mm Luger.
As long as it's brass case, it should shoot just fine.

Buy in bulk. I just bought 20 boxes of WWB 124 grain for under $11 a box delivered from Bud's.

I've used the monarch brass case at academy for a while. It seems to run smooth.
I think its $13 for 50

You put in your address and pay with a credit card - exactly the same as anywhere else.

Go to SGammo.com. That's where I buy all my bulk hollow points. It's about half the price of stuff on the shelf in stores.

Thanks. I buy most of my ammo online. But I was wondering if any stores sold it locally. Down to two mags of the GD's and wanted to to run some through this weekend in addition to target ammo.

Seems like a waste of money. If you've run a few mags through already, there's no reason to retest the ammo function unless you've modified your weapon in some way that would affect the action.

I bought some at walmart recently for $9.78 or so. Brass....don't remember the brand.
