I've been having most of my luck with a white spinner bait with gold blades.

My three most productive so far this spring have been a KVD 1.5 (not divulging the color), Humdinger 1/4 oz spinnerbait, and a Missile Baits D-Bomb with a 1/2 oz tungsten.

Next best thing to the KVD 1.5 so far that I have seen is the Bomber model A in the 2 1/8" length in that same (similar) color that was not divulged.

Zoom trick worm, either bubble gum or watermelon red flake.

I made a commitment to become more efficient with a chatter bait this year. Other than that i'm sticking to spinnerbaits and texas rigs

KVD Spinnerbait - depending on temps and colors depends on blade colors that i use along with whether it's a Colorado or willow

Rage Craws - junebug or watermelon red/watermelon meat Texas rigged w/small hops along the bottom

Chatterbait - white w/paddle tail trailer w/chartreuse paddle & an orange/yellow/black chatterbait w/rage craw or sweet beaver trailer in junebug or black/blue
