Read/Watch anything from Brett Hite. He's making a lot of money off that bait.
I finally learned how to fish/punch grass with it and it really seems to help when you need to get their attention.

have you tried using a BioSpawn Vile Craw as a trailer?
I have. I like using them too. Though, i shorten them up a bit. The claws tend to be long and i've had a few fish that were latched on to the claws, but not hooked. Shorten it up and dip the claws in chartreuse and you're good to go.

I use it different ways until i get something. I've burned it, slow rolled it, and hopped it like a jig. It's hit and miss.
Lately, i've gotten more bites from hopping like a jig than swimming it

I've got a bunch of stuff tied on, but I've pretty much only thrown a tube craw and a chatterbait so far.

Any soft plastic in watermelon red or junebug texas rigged with a 1/8 ounce sinker. Also throwing red eye shad traps in crawfish color.

I'm taking Friday off and will have 3 rods rigged: chatter bait (white or shad colored), swimbait (same color) & jerk bait. If all that fails, plastic worms (Zoom red & june bug) & will do some flippin'

honestly just cause its spring my baits really don't change. I've been punching grass with the same bait since summer. Always have a humdinger and brushhog available. I could do with that but still have 30 combos on deck just in case.
