Alright... got another spring today but I have one more question...
Is there a difference in the take down detent springs and the spring for the safety? I think I put a standard detent spring in. The safety is wornibg properly, but it doesn't seem to have that crisp click to it. I had one spring that seemed stiffer then the others and I'm thinking that's the one I should've used
Eta: I figured it out and I did have the wrong spring it... safety selector feels crisp now

More or less finished.... need to get my hands on a wrench to tighten up the castle nut but other than that it's ready to rock.

Can't have a vertical foregrip if it's a pistol. He's got an angled foregrip. Which is legal on a pistol.

Finally decided to join the club. Pretty much just planning on using it for predator hunting and punching paper. I can tell this will be a fun toy with the very limited time I've played with it. What is the boards recommended zero distance? I've seen a few people recommend 50 yards, what do yall think?

I have a strike charging handle, I like it as much as the BCM/VLTOR, it isn't like i've been using and abusing it though.

I used all their enhanced lower parts on my build. Very happy with them and am looking forward to their pdw stock

My FIL "had a .308 built" for midrange shooting. I had no clue he was even into rifles let alone ARs. He wanted to sight in the scope this weekend but we didnt have time. He still hasnt put a round through it.
Am I an idiot for not pushing more to go shooting this weekend? Im a pistol guy, how decent of a build is this?

I went ahead and ordered this stripped upper and lower and this trigger. I'm looking to build a lightweight SBR 300 Blackout. I've gotten good advice on here before so I figured I'd try it again. I'm going to take my time to build it so hopefully I won't have to replace things on it I don't like. I'm looking at the Noveske 8.5" barrel but can be talked out of it. Does anybody have any advice on things that they are running that they would recommend for this type of build? Stock? Handguard? Compensator(until I can get suppresor)? Grips? Etc. All help is appreciated.

That looks very similar to mine. I have a DPMS lower with Aero upper. I have the same stock and a Midwest hand guard as well. Mine is 24" barrel though.
The Noveske is suppose to be an awesome barrel. I went with a Bison Armory 8.5" on my .300. It's very accurate and I'd highly recommend it. I have one of their 6.8spc barrels as well. Will save you couple hundred.

I have the 16.5 chrome-lined noveske on my build but if I were building now I'd wait on this LINK
