Just bought a CMC 3.5lb single stage drop-in tigger. I see a lot of people buying the anti-rotation pins for the drop in trigger groups. Is it that beneficial instead of just going with the provided c-clamps?

Anyone tried a Troy PDW or a NEA CCS stock yet?

Short answer is no.

I put in a 3mr. Looks like same thing. It's pretty damn fast.

Finally got everything in for my pistol build... now just need to get a friend of mine to help me get it all assembled

I would like one but all my guns are left handed. So I would have to do some work on my carrier. Hopefully they package them with a lefty carrier in the near future. Because it looks like the safety levers can be swapped over like the BAD-arse ambi's I use on my rifles now.

Never mind. I didn't watch how it operates. 3mr is not a fire on release. But it's just as fast with a little practice

Got a question about barrel/handguard clearance. I am in the process of building a Mk18 Mod1 clone, because I'm not dropping $1200 on a Daniel Defense Mk18 upper. I am going with a 10.5" barrel, maker is yet to be determined. I want to go with a 10" quad rail so I can have as little gap as possible between the end of the rail and the flash hider, but still have enough room to mount a SiCo can on an ASR flash hider.
I am planning to go with a 10" Midwest Industries Gen3 T series in FDE:
Spoke with a Midwest rep on the phone and he said their handguards are built to be exactly 10" and should not exceed that. Does anyone have experience with a setup like this? I have a feeling it may be a situation where I complete the entire build except for the handguard, then order it to see if it provides sufficient clearance.
Here is a picture of a SiCo ASR mount for reference:
Below is a picture of a SiCo ASR flash hider on a DD Mk18 upper, which is a 10.3" barrel and 9.55" rail

Have just about finished my build. Overall really happy so far. Just a few more things and I believe I will be ready for my next build. Wanting to build a AR pistol to leave in my vehicle.

Nice, very simple and will get the job done.
Only suggestion and this is only because rra had some issues with triggers breaking in the past. I would upgrade to a geisselle or alg. Now rra may have fixed the issue, so look it up to make sure.

I would def. like a geisselle for sure. I have got about 1000 rounds with no problems on the trigger so far. Hopefully it will continue to run good until I get a chance and funds to replace the trigger.

It should fit, but I would build it out first and order the handguard last. That would be the only way to ensure proper fitment.
Have you tried gunstruction? I found that is one of the best tools for getting barrel length and handguards figured out before you start the build. Here is a 10.5" barrel with the DD 10" handguard (they didn't have the midwest).

I use gunstruction all the time
And yeah, I was a bit leery because they did not have the MI handguard, and a quarter inch here or there could make a big difference in clearance.

why do you want a quad rail? The M-lok is so much more comfortable to shoot.

I was going to say the same thing, but he said he is building a clone of the mk18 mod1.

I already have an M-lok and a keymod build (only because it's all BCM uses), I just want to do something different. I kicked around the idea of a Geissele 9.5" MK4, but want to go this route instead.
