Finally got to put some rounds down range with my Sandman-S. First time I've shot an AR suppressed, so I don't have much to compare it to. I should be able to do a side by side with an Omega this week though when my buddy picks his up. Really looking forward to comparing the two. I can say that it was enjoyable to shoot with no ear protection, and point of impact shift was minimal if any at all (we were shooting standing and just through the iron sights). We were shooting 208gr Hornady A-max subsonics. Only shot 200 rounds as we were pressed for time, but the QD performed/endured great. It was actually significantly more difficult to remove after shooting than otherwise.

ETA: On another note, thumbs up for the SNACH charging handle from Griffin Armament. Seemed to completely eliminate gas to the face.

He will likely say Daniel Defense.

He's a big fan.

Daniel Defense V11 Pro. Just found one on internet for $1550. Has a Geissele SD3G and their new comp. Pretty damn good for the money.

Would a 5.56 NATO or a .300 blackout be able to take down a hog?

Yes, either will.

I routinely blast piggies with my DD mk18. 55gr vmax does the trick.

I like 300 BO for hogs. Seen some hogs take multiple 5.56 rounds before kicking the bucket.

It's not really something I could link. Gathered various parts from different places

Spikes tactical lower
Lower parts kit
Radical firearms barrel
Palmetto state sripped upper
Yankee hill rail
Magpul stock
Leupold 1-4x scope
Troy low profile gas block

I am in need of a bright tac light and a sling.

I have seen some youtube videos of slings being made of paracord, but I don know if I wanna spend the time on it.

Any recs?

Only been able to shoot it at the 25yd indoor range at precision so far. I plan on taking it out to the AP Sheriff range to get a feel for it's long range capabilities.
