You may have a bad gun but you can not shoot the aluminum shells through a well shot Maxus. You have to shoot the brass shells. I have been through same thing and nearly lost my trigger finger cocking my bolt at a tournament.

Before you do that, why don't you send it to an outdoorsman in need. Namely, VaBamaMan. Let's call it the only manly(outside of boy's clothing) shower gift anyone gave my soon to be born son.

I clean mine religiously

after you clean the shotgun do you oil it when you are putting it back together. I'm asking because I have been hunting with an Extrema II for 7 years cleaning it once or twice a year and that thing cycles any round I put in it without flinching (Dove loads to goose loads).

U may be anti Browning nkw but I love my A5. Clean it sparingly and never had a pblm. Used for 2 duck seasons now. Also upvite on SX3. Never had trouble with it either.

I shoot thousands of rounds through my A400 Xplor every year -- most are sporting clays target loads (lighter than dove loads), some are steel duck loads.

I've shot this gun for six years. I clean it every 1000-1500 rounds. I can think of maybe three occasions where it failed to fully eject an empty hull, and I attribute those to a filthy shotgun.

This gun has a recoil reducer on the stock, and has the lightest recoil of any 12 gauge I've ever shot.

Beretta A300 Outlander has been money for me. Recently purchased and not a single misfire or issue during the first few hundred rounds. No cleaning necessary straight out of the box which will help you with the wanting to "pull the trigger tomorrow" anticipation.

looking forward to dove this week

I guess it's to heavy when your vag is bleeding. Had mine for 5 years and 0 hangs up, 0 problems. 2nd best shotgun I've owned behind a wingmaster.

What BVDD said find one that fits you and get that one. Im a beretta guy, I have 391s but have padnahs w a400s and shot a a300 last week. If I didn’t want to spend alot on a semi auto I would pick that one.

Love mine. I shoot it more than my Super Vinci. Wish I would have gotten the Exrema so I could be 100% Team Beretta...

Maybe you're a big badass or just fricking stupid. Not sure.

Remington won't even list the weight of their top of the line shotgun as it's the heaviest of all the high end shotgun (if you really think anything Remington is high-end).
The gun weighs over 8lbs as best I can tell.
My Super Vinci weighs in at 6.8lbs.

Why would anyone want to carry around an almost extra 1.5lbs is beyond me.

AND you can't tell me that it has less recoil than any others because that would be a lie.

On top of all that, remington is shite. It has been shite for about 5 years now maybe a little longer.

So, in summation frick you. You apparently don't know what the frick you're talking about or just stupid.

I'll go with stupid.

A heavier gun will have less recoil.

Have you shot both? The stock on the super vinci and the beretta a400 reduce the recoil which a versa max does not have.

ETA: My super vinci has the same or less than a .20
