Makes you wonder how may you didn't see. I've read some crazy stories about how well the pack works together to trick, isolate and kill prey. Saw something about how a guy was faced with 2, when suddenly, he realized he was surrounded as the ones behind him would leap out and attack, then withdraw as he turned to face them.

That said, I wish I had coyotes to shoot. sounds fun.

My theory is we (meaning hunters) see them around dawn and dusk - they haven't packed up yet.

My friend had a 120 lb german shepherd that would go out and kill them for fun. Come home limping two days later and drag the dead yotes up to the yard. Was a bad arse dog

Can you borrow Jack Russels from the pound as a decoy?

Bring them back next day

Soak some weenies in antifreeze, bait where nobody's dog will eat them, or advise people to keep there dogs from roaming for a day or two until said weenies are gone. Yotes will be gone too...

Had one of mine years ago. He was a badass, but the pack worked his arse over. Rip his backleg open big time. Took a few months for it to heal.

A couple pounds of bacon
Cook bacon, save grease
Cheap sponges cut into cubes
Soak sponge in bacon grease
Put out where no dogs will eat them

damn that sucks. We lose barn cats the same way. And my cat is not allowed to go outside ever. We had one come up under the barn a couple weeks ago.

My favorite coyote video, he's like "oh shite!" when he realizes the little guy has a big friend.

There are some in the back of my neighborhood (BREC park, no less) that have gotten a couple of cats recently. I talked to a guy who lives next to the park and they see and hear them regularly. I've only been out there once when they started getting rowdy.

That said, there's apparently also a fox out there. Hopefully he can elude those assholes.

They would kill your jack too. I owned a pit that used to kill coyotes. He could kill two in one night and he would be fricked up bad the next day. He also did work on a pack of fox hounds one night. Killed 7 of them in one night. He was one bad mofo.

My aunt's two kangals went to the neighbor's farm one day and took out over a dozen cats. Relations have been tense sense.
