That's embarassing. That new Chevy diesel truck better be worth a shite.

Gaston just has a heavy foot

I've got a 2" lift and heavy arse Trail Grapplers on mine and consistently get 18.5-19 mixed driving (stock I got 19.5-20 mixed and 21-22 on the highway). The worst I've ever gotten was 16.5 and that was driving in 4x4 in the snow for the entire tank.

Gaston's is a 6 speed and mine is an auto though

I proudly have a TRD 4x2.
Still worth more than I paid for it.
I run it with low resistance street tires and get 18/21.

So there is that.

I actually have a double cab 4 cylinder. Gets 24mpg. 2014.

I can definitely feel the power loss compared to my '82 Ford, but I don't need to haul anything but a Yak. It didn't come with a towing package.

Are there any bed extenders in stores or just online?

There was a thread recently about where to buy local. Try to find that one. I can't remember off the top of my head.

It's extendable. Not sure how wide is the widest.

That is legit. Thanks for your help. I am trying to find a sore that has them to get a good look.

It says exactly how wide it goes in description, along with pretty much every other dimension. You don't need to see it in a store. It's $90. Buy something (that looks) cooler or get the bed extender, what is there to see/discuss?

I've got to agree with Gaston here. You're thinking about it too much. The one I linked will do what you want it to.

How much did you pay for it, if you dont mind me asking. I'm in the market for a Taco and I'm trying to decide between the 4 cyl and the 6. I really only need it to haul my yak and a couple of other small things.

And that 24 mpg, Is that your average or hwy?
