Fil has a 36' Fincat that I'm pretty partial to. No super long runs, only a few overnighters.

Yeah he sold it a few months ago, and I think is getting the 42LR hull #2.

I don't know anything about offshore rigs. That's why i asked. I do know that Freeman is a beautiful boat.

I've seen Mexican gulfs 42 when I was in Venice duck hunting...they are bad arse! I think they run 6 freeman boats.

Way more formidable rigs than that. Nice little boat, though.

Before I got sick, I talked with Billy and was in the planning stage of having a 33' made for me. God, what a boat. Way more so for the chop that the GOM puts out. One hell of a fishing machine.

Yes, one hell of a price tag, but still one hell of a fishing machine.

The Freeman 42LR, but I'd prefer the 34VH for my purposes.

The beauty of their price tag is that there is so much demand and such a long wait that they appreciate in value and sell almost instantly.

Don't do it. It will make you hate going on any other boat other than a cat. They're awesome.

I think 34vh is in the $300k range

I'd imagine 42LR is upwards of $500k
