re: Venice cabin rentals - WHODAT514
We use the cabins during duck season. Two nights is about 325$ but if you split with 6 it won't be bad. that's what we usually do and your boat is in the water ready to go. They are nice and have a full kitchen if you want to cook. Also they have house boats and camps for rent as well that are bigge...

re: Ceramic coating on boat - WHODAT514
Hmm guess my boat is not good enough dave! Lol I wax with collinite and it holds up fine. For stains I use fsr from academy. Works great and easy to do. As for coating I had my truck done but I wouldn't do it for my boat. Cost is high but I can easily wax mine every year and maintain shine and ge...

re: Architect - residential - WHODAT514
We used madden home design and well he's busy and takes forever, but does nice work. the guy dave is referring to is very good as well. Also finding a house to fit on certain lots may be difficult. We ran into that issue but made one work with changes. I don't see how a 2 acre lot is small? Is i...

re: Buying a new boat... - WHODAT514
Not really the 150 performs well on that boat but that boat is the older design. Not the full composite hull like the 2104 meridian. 27k is kind of steep for that boat...I paid 35 for a used 2013 with 50 hours and was rigged out ready To fish ...

re: Xi5 vs iPilot GPS Trolling Motor - WHODAT514
It's nice being able to set the boat on a path at a set speed from the back of the boat while re thing or if you fishing back there. Spot lock and cruise control is cool, plus you can record trails. It's worth the money IMO ...

re: Xi5 vs iPilot GPS Trolling Motor - WHODAT514
Same reason I went with the I pilot. The remote and the screen is a plus over the mg. Plus I always had minn Kota and they have great customer service. Spot lock is awesome especially with a power pole. ...

re: Can someone recommend a Baton Rouge fence contractor for my yard? - WHODAT514
I cant recommend one but I can tell you to not use AGCO fencing. he did two of my friends fences and they were both not happy, one had to rip up all the stuff he did because it was all wrong and not what he wanted. the other he missed boards with nails and just sloppy craftsmanship. ill be follo...

re: Cajun Outboards - Service Department - WHODAT514
They do good work. Do not bring it to boats unlimited. My buddy has had great service at Cajun. I need to do mine on my boat, I'll prolly do it myself though it's pretty simple. Oil for the sho is $65 a gallon..damn synthetic :wah: ETA: if anyone has a Yamaha and does own maintenance simyamaha.c...

re: Stoeger M3500 reviews? *UPDATED IN OP* - WHODAT514
I have one and really like it, its 4 years old now and goes boom every time I pull the trigger with no issues. I shoot 3s and 3.5s during duck season no issues and I clean it at the end of season. for a budget gun its great. its heavier then the high end shotguns but still performs. I think I paid $...
