re: How much fuel do you keep on board your boat? - WHODAT514
I have a 50 gallon tank on my bay boat and it stays full or close to full. I use non ethanol and treat it with startron if I happen to get non ethanol somewhere. I try and keep it topped off after I use it. I do use my boat once to twice a month sometimes more unless work interferes like it has. ...

re: Simrad GO5/7 or Raymarine Dragonfly 5/7 for small skiff? - WHODAT514
I'd go with the simrad or a lowrance unit for the mapping ability for a custom mapping card. seapickle and I can help you with that. I know raymarine has mapping cards thru standard mapping I believe. I'm a big fan of the simrad go 5/7/9 units. Will be my next unit when I decide to sell my hds7...

re: Learn me on tankless water heaters - WHODAT514
as others said they have to be flushed and cleaned every year. my dad has been in the plumbing business for 25 years and I just built a house with 2 standard 50 gallon gas water heaters instead of an instant. He sells more of the regular gas ones then the instant. my input but they seem to work well...

re: Is Xpress still the gold standard in aluminum hull bass boats? - WHODAT514
imagine your boat is a beast.
His boat is and I like the 22 over the 20 a lot! Tt rides better and handles water better, also his with the 175 scoots. We ran about 52 or so with fishing load. If you going aluminum go bigger, His 22 is night and day better then the 20 I had. ...

re: Outdoor Kitchen Planning - WHODAT514
I'll post pics of mine when it's done next week on my new house. I have a bull angus 30" grill with drawers and door below. To the right between the sink and gas grill is a beverage cooler. Glass front with lights, wanted something different. Also have a sink and access for for it. The left of th...

re: Is Xpress still the gold standard in aluminum hull bass boats? - WHODAT514
haven't looked lately but I doubt you can get any glass boat of the same size and loadout for anywhere close to what an express costs.
Have you seen xpress bay boat prices? My buddy paid 38k for 22' bay boat last year. I know a guy on here who bought a brand new glass bay boat for ...

re: Powerpole and Ipilot - WHODAT514
Why in the hell would you want to walk to the front of the boat and drop the ipilot ( which is a pain in the arse ) and find the remote to spot lock it instead of just dropping the power pole down with a touch of a button ?
one the I pilot isn't a pain, its pretty simple to depl...

re: Ford 3.5L EcoBoost V6 Opinions... - WHODAT514
That sucks, my buddy has a 15 ecoboost with High miles and no issues. I think it's luck of the draw with these engines. I had a 5.0 before this truck in my 12 f150 and it was great but I think the power and pulling of the ecoboost is better. If I had a 17 with the issue they could keep it, I'd b...

re: Ford 3.5L EcoBoost V6 Opinions... - WHODAT514
I have the factory extended warranty, couldn't tell you if its covered or not. hopefully I don't have the issue. I know the issues were on the first run of motors out. the 2014 and up was suppose to have this issue addressed. if it breaks it breaks. I know the service guy at a dealership if an issue...

I currently have 62k on my 2014 ecoboost with no issues. its paid for and has extended warranty if any issues arise. only issue I had was the electric steering went out, it was a weird feeling having to turn the wheel back when it would get stuck, they also changed master cylinder for the brake reca...

re: Nautic Star 224XTS - WHODAT514
The sho is available in a 25" only on the 250. I have a 200 on my frontier with a 12" atlas hydraulic plate. Runs fine with no problems. Usually runs 10-15 psi sometimes more but they have a low pressure system in them. Great motors for sure. My boat ran 58 with a full tank, two ice chest,3 guys and ...
