It won't kill the st aug. But can hurt it from what I have seen.

Spot spray would be best approach.

Could use a diluted dose if you're worried. It won't kill St aug though

That is correct. It was more the frequent applications that harmed it. We did some studies at LSU on it.

I spray my stuff full strength. It'll turn brown that day and come back a week later

I also remember certain varieties were more susceptible. Don't remember which ones.

Isn't it a still a little early to spray? I haven't fully greened up yet.

I have used diluted 2-4d on st. Aug without problems. I prefer to use the multi chemical mixes though because they kill more types of weeds though. I think it just depends on what you are trying to kill.

Seriously?

Would it hurt to do this with centipede?

Pepp the directions are on the bottle. Just follow the directions for dosage and then spot treat as needed later.

I've heard it can be harmful when the temperature gets a bit higher, but I sprayed pretty generously last year in March and had no issues.

Don't Spray 2,4-D on St Aug. Southern Trimec or Threeway is safer.

Sprayed my centipede yard on 3/7 and the broadleaf stuff is dying out. Sprayed what the bottle recommends and my yard is starting to green in.

Will weed and feed in a few more weeks and it should be good to go.

My problem is, I'm not targeting a couple of species. I must have 8 different weeds in the back yard right now. This is after combating white clover last year.
