What is the optimum barrel length to get the most out of a 300 SBR using subsonic rounds with a suppressor?

I want to say that it's 7.5" but it maybe 8.5"

Mine is 10.5".
The powder in this round burns very fast so a longer barrel doesn't benefit the velocity.

Thanks. That's what I wanted to know but didn't know if I phrased it correctly.

You loading any 300 with your Dillon?

I own two .300 Blks and both are made by RedXArms. I've been impressed with their uppers and they are very reasonable. My SBR is 9.5 inches and it's very quiet. I went the trust route, the suppressor manufacturer (local company) assembled my rifle for me and engraved their name on it. It took 4 months to get my paperwork back. I literally brought them a box with all of the components that I wanted and they put it together. That's how you can get exactly what you want in a build. Good luck, they are fun rifles to own and shoot.

Oh yeah, I can get an unlimited supply of .223. Cut it off at the shoulder run it through the sizing die and then trim it to length.

I need to find some more bullets to load for it though. Only thing I've done so far is Hornady a-max 208 gr.

They aren't the cheapest.

The powder coated cast lead bullets work well for subs and are pretty cheap.

I also can get all the 223 I want and am seriously considering this route.

I have a question though about the paperwork. I have a pretty good 223 AR and was thinking I want to just build an upper in 300 and swap it out with the 223 lower. Is this "legal"? I understand I still need to get papers on the SBR and suppressor but can I just use the good lower I have?

Yes.

ETA: obviously get the paperwork for the lower back in before assembling a SBR.

Does that BCM 9" upper have a suppressor ready muzzle device on it?
