I want a 300BLK SBR

I've got all the others, 6.8, 308, but no SBR, and no 300BLK.
Who's a reputable dealer in SBRs in Lafayette, BR, Alex, etc? I know Dale Landry in Morganza deals in suppressors, does he sell SBRs?

Build one
ETA: Efile takes 15 minutes if you already have a trust set up.

But if you build one, you become the builder and have to do in on a Form 1 correct?

You have to file no matter what.
...unless you build a pistol.

Building will be quicker by a few months. Buy lower, efile form 1, put SBR upper on when you get stamp.
Otherwise you'll have to paper file a form 4 which is currently taking a few months longer than e-file form 1.

Building one on a form 1 is probably the easiest. The only negative is you have to get your trust name, city and state engraved on the lower. If you buy an SBR on a form 4 you don't have to engrave but you also can't e file a form 4 like you can with a form 1.

If you are going to go the trust route I would get it done asap. Lot of talk that 41-p could possible go into effect in January and then you will have to get a CLEO signature to get your stamp. Hopefully it will not happen but just in case I would go ahead and get the process going now. CLEO in my county will not sign at all.

I'll sell you a 300 upper, I'm trying to stay within one caliber now. Let me know if you are interested.

I'm wanting to build/buy a 300blk as well. I went by Interstate Guns in Hammond and they said they haven't had one in the store for a while. They were extremely helpful and knowledgeable though and said they would help me build one.

Bowie Outfitters on Perkins
We can help you build one if you go that route. I usually keep mine at the store (8.5") so you can check it out

What is the optimum barrel length to get the most out of a 300 SBR using subsonic rounds with a suppressor?
