Post some of the pics you took on your herping trips.

Here's a few. We haven't found anything too exciting yet, but it's something to do.

LOL. I'm going to try. I should be used to it at 38 years old, but the snake killing is a hot button for me.

We all have our triggers...and there are those people on the internet who love to push buttons. Don't let them SOBs get the best of you. I've let it happen to me...and it got the best of me...never again.

Nice thread, Alx. The area where we found that big rat snake in the photos theoretically has scarlet snakes, scarlet kings, eastern milks, and red milks. None of them are common but I was hoping to find any of them. Struck out though.

Last year was a crappy falconry season too. I was keeping my hawk through the summer to fly a second season, but she somehow broke her leg in the mews. After surgery, long story short, she died of other complications. I trapped another red tail that I didn't like. I released him and decided I'd just spend the season hunting sparrows and starlings with a kestrel. I soon learned that kestrels just aren't my bag, and released that one too. So, I took most of the season off and just hunted other ways. I'll get a new red tail this fall and get back in the game.

This dude catches and releases falcons like I do palm size bream

Dressing in camo, sneaking up on the frozen birds at walmart, and jumping out with your pop cap gun screaming I got one does not count as turkey hunting.

Now if you'd have done it in the parking lot and took it out of someone's buggy
