Dicks has a good sale on the Field & Stream Eagle Talon kayak. Wondering if any of y'all have had any experience with that brand kayak? How does it compare to ascend?

You should be able to find reviews on Dick's website and on paddling.net

There is an Ascend team on the OB with a pretty cool sticker. I know nothing about the FS yaks but I don't like dicks.

I looked at them and thought they were as nice, if not nicer, than the Ascends. I got the Ascend because I got the hook up on it thanks to a fine member of the OB.

I don't have any experience with it, but wouldn't be opposed to buying one.

I have had one for over a year and haven't had any problems with it. It tracks well and has good secondary stability. It's worth the $400 at Dicks I paid for it.
