I just put the Toyo AT2's on my truck a couple of days ago at the suggestion of a friend who owns a Goodyear tire service/dealership. Those suckers ride really well on pavement and grab a wet street better than anything I've ever had. Haven't had them offroad yet, but my friend says they really handle mud, sand etc. really well too. Cost me just under a grand for four.

Just got the cooper discoverer at3s, ride great and were 900$ installed at skid Marks in denham. They match online prices. Shoot me a text and I'll tell ya who to talk to over there

ETA: I have 275/60/20s, equates to a 33" tire.

I just put some on last week as well, and really like them so far. They ride so much better than the stock tires did and are great so far in the rain. I'm sure they'll be on par with any of the other AT's off road as well.

If you want the BFG at for half the price get these. Same tread pattern for $180/tired.

I've had Michelin LTX A/Ts on various trucks over the last 15+ years. They're great tires and I usually get 60-70K miles per set. The redesigned LTX A/T2s aren't quite as aggressive, but are really good tires. You're probably looking for something more aggressive though.

Those look cool. How is the traction on wet pavement?

I've had good luck with Goodyear ATs. They are a less aggressive tread, but I needed a high mileage tire that was safe for towing on wet and dry pavement while offering good traction in the pasture. There are more aggressive all terrain tires out there for people who prefer mud traction, but the sacrifice is usually a tire that's slick on wet pavement or in winter weather (which is not really a problem in SoLa).

Depends on tire size and tire ply. The Cooper Discoverer AT3's in a 275/60/20 are 4 ply tires; so they don't weigh much more than a normal street tire. If you go to a bigger tire in a load range E 8 ply, you'll notice a difference.

My 295/65r20 (35.1x11.8) weigh 15lbs less per tire than the same size MT (trail grappler). The 60 extra lbs makes a huge difference in rolling resistance and obviously ride/MPG.

those bfg at's will dryrot before you wear the tread off of them, but they are expensive, I had 33 12 50's on my suburban, lasted 6 years, and still had tread when I pulled them off, started cracking on the inside of the tire. I replaced them with maxxis bighorn mudders in the same size, which look mean as hell. they arent quite as loud as the mickey thompson's, but they are loud. they sell rated as an AT at simpletire.com, but when they show up they are an MT. it did affect my MPG significantly, and I think I'll be sticking with AT's on the new truck. I'm keeping the big 'burban to play around in, so I'd like the new truck to keep some cash in my pocket!
