my favorite atv of all time was a 350 honda 4x2.
I have a 350 Rancher 4x2 and I am shocked at some of the places I've been with that thing. There have been a few times though where i wish i had a 4x4....

Primos 35 I have had several different brands and this one seems to be the best one for the price. I've had it for about 5 years now. Wildgame cameras are junk, or they have been for me at least....

re: Catfish ponds anywhere? - geaux_fish
There are some right by the interstate on the Holden exit on I-12. I'm not sure if they are still open though, it's been a few years. It was your typical pay by the pound place. We usually did pretty well....

re: Weekend results thread - hot as hell edition - geaux_fish
Did a solo trip in Grand Isle on Sunday. Put the boat in right before 10:00am and was back at the launch for 12:00. The wind was whipping pretty good so I fished the North side of the island. Caught several small trout and reds. Ran out of shrimp and caught a few on a Vudu under a cork. Ended up wi...

re: Boat fuel line and primer bulb - geaux_fish
those crappy atwood kits have some kind of plastic liner in the line that will fall apart in a few years and clog up your fuel system.
Exactly. I had a boat issue a few weeks ago, bought a new fuel line and ball kit at the dock. The problem wasn't corrected so i trailered my boat....

Sunday morning in Grand Isle. Had boat problems but still managed to get a pretty good pile of fish with 30 or so trout, reds, flounder and sheepshead. The trout seem to be bigger this year. Never had to ...

re: Pressure washer problem... - geaux_fish
The same thing just happened to my Simpson MSV3024 2.4 GPM 3000 PSI Pressure Washer w/Honda Engine. The engine runs fine but it won't build up pressure. I was debating buying another pump and swapping it out or seeing if i could get it repaired....

re: Elmers island and specks - geaux_fish
Did okay on the North side of the island Saturday morning. Lots of 11-1/2" and 11-3/4" trout. The ones we kept were pretty good size though. Live shrimp under a cork, live shrimp carolina rigged, double rigs, vudu shrimp, DOA's, topwater, suspended mirror lures. Should have had more than we did but ...

re: Best Boats for Saltwater cruising? - geaux_fish
I know a guy that that has a camp on the Diversion Canal that has twin 300's on it. I guess if you have money to blow, why not. It's pretty funny watching a party barge go flying by a cigarette boat....

re: Heaviest deer or hog you have ever killed? - geaux_fish
Amazing how they disappear in the wide open. I watched one go flying out the side of a big old doe one time. She was going downhill and I saw the arrow hit a tree and go up into the air after it pulled out. Broad arse daylight. I looked for an hour. I think it got stuck up in a tree and was j...

re: How many deer have you HONESTLY killed in your lifetime? - geaux_fish
Started hunting by myself in 96'. I have killed right at 50 (plus or minus 1 or 2). Some years were better than others. I have 4 bucks on the wall and have shot a few spikes that were mistaken for does through the years. 7/50 were bucks, the rest does(and 3 button bucks....whoops). I haven't killed ...
