re: Pressure washer problem... - geaux_fish
The same thing just happened to my Simpson MSV3024 2.4 GPM 3000 PSI Pressure Washer w/Honda Engine. The engine runs fine but it won't build up pressure. I was debating buying another pump and swapping it out or seeing if i could get it repaired....

re: Elmers island and specks - geaux_fish
Did okay on the North side of the island Saturday morning. Lots of 11-1/2" and 11-3/4" trout. The ones we kept were pretty good size though. Live shrimp under a cork, live shrimp carolina rigged, double rigs, vudu shrimp, DOA's, topwater, suspended mirror lures. Should have had more than we did but ...

re: Best Boats for Saltwater cruising? - geaux_fish
I know a guy that that has a camp on the Diversion Canal that has twin 300's on it. I guess if you have money to blow, why not. It's pretty funny watching a party barge go flying by a cigarette boat....

re: Heaviest deer or hog you have ever killed? - geaux_fish
Amazing how they disappear in the wide open. I watched one go flying out the side of a big old doe one time. She was going downhill and I saw the arrow hit a tree and go up into the air after it pulled out. Broad arse daylight. I looked for an hour. I think it got stuck up in a tree and was j...

re: How many deer have you HONESTLY killed in your lifetime? - geaux_fish
Started hunting by myself in 96'. I have killed right at 50 (plus or minus 1 or 2). Some years were better than others. I have 4 bucks on the wall and have shot a few spikes that were mistaken for does through the years. 7/50 were bucks, the rest does(and 3 button bucks....whoops). I haven't killed ...

re: Freddy Smith taxidermist - geaux_fish
Guy usually takes 9-10 months to get a deer back. Here's another one he did for me a few years ago. ...

re: Flyiing With Antlers? - geaux_fish
The last 2 out of state hunts I've had I bought a plastic storage container from Wal-Mart. We cape out the deer and remove the horns from the skull. I then freeze it solid along with whatever meat i plan on taking home. I drill a few holes around the edges and tywrapped the lid closed. Everything re...

re: How many deer on average do you kill per year - geaux_fish
Usually 3-4 a year. I only shoot a buck if i want to mount it and that seems to happen once every few years. It really depends on how many people are asking for deer meat....

re: deer hunting in heavy wind - geaux_fish
I also think they bed down when the wind picks up over about 20mph. If your main defenses were taken out you wouldn't want to do too much either. As Pdubya mentioned, stalking can be another option....
