Whats a good, decently priced boot for someone who is going to be walking around construction site, mills, plants, etc?

Make sure you go to a boot store so they can measure you.

Hard to beat georgia or wolverine for a cheap work boot.

I'll take a cheap gun to war before I take a cheap boot to work though.

I got a year out of a pair of georgia's, which is incredible.

I rarely get more than 6 months out of a pair of boots before they fall apart. Doesn't matter what I buy.

The old wolverines with the whitish yellow sole were the best. Hate the durashock crap.

Yeah but I wasn't wearing them everyday and really only on Saturdays working around the house. Never again will I own another pair.

I bought a pair of Tony Lama steel toes almost 2 years ago. They're still the most comfortable pair of shoes I own.

Got em at the boot outlet on hwy 30 across from Tanger.

Mine were steel toe. They were damn good.

Not overly comfortable but tough as nails

Are the Georgia Boots y'all are referring to the old Georgia Giants? Those were made from horse hide and would smell awful when wet.

Good advice there. I've got some Cobalt Quantum that I wear to work at the hospital sometimes since they're so comfortable.
