Glad that worked out for you. I will have to decide once they tell me what the issue is. I hope it's very minor, perhaps a loose hose clamp or something.

Good luck with that and let us know what they find.

The service manager texted me today that he will look at it with his team in the morning, I expect they will call me before lunch with a determination of the issue. Will post back once I know.

He texted you today?

That's pretty good service, it seems like.

Yeah. Well he and I are friends from church too, so that helps.

Well, good deal.

I know you are aggravated. Seems like we've both been snakebit due to drunks here lately.

Sounds like they are making the extra effort to get you taken care of.

Well, he is a Ford dealer.

The Ford drove better, was more quiet and comfortable than either the Chevy or Toyota I drove, although I liked the instrument panel and dash layout better on the Toyota.
The Sync tray is poorly designed on the Ford. I don't have buyers remorse yet, but if this is more than a hose or clamp issue, I probably will. Will see.

This particular one is about 9,500 # and I sunk it to the bottom of the cab today. It hasn't been a good day for the home team.

You won't find a more family friendly cab than a Tundra Crewmax. Even with my son's giant rear facing seat, I have no problems putting seat all the way back and reclining. And to me, there's something to be said about never having to bring the drivers seat forward just because someone's sitting behind you.

LOL, wut?
The F150 has more leg room, shoulder room, hip room, and I believe even more head room. What makes a smaller truck better for a family?

Will see what the issue is with the F150, if it's anything other than very minor, I'm going to get my money back and consider other options.

not likely...

0.3" more leg room?

Come on. No one would notice that.

Is it more? yes.

How about we talk about resale?

I'd love to see this from my 6.2.

I'm happy to see 12.

From 1994-1996 my mother owned a 1986 26 ft Class C motorhome. It had a Ford 460 with plenty of power but averaged 7.5 mpg.
