He looks happy. That's what it's all about. I'll allow it.

That deer literally isn't as long from it's neck to its haunches as a shotgun barrel

That giant has the hands of a twelve year old

There may be a beanstalk around

It must be legal to hunt over a salt/mineral block or bait in Arkansas? Man, they would jack up the jail and shove you so far under it they'd hafta pump air to you for doing that here in Virginia.

Don't know the counties of Arkansas that well but my dad killed one of the biggest deer he's ever killed in Yell County and it was a solid 215+. Granted it was rutting but it scored a gross 155.

We hunt between Fordyce and El Dorado, a 200+ pound deer is a freak in that area. I have 50 acres in Perry county (on the east border of Yell) and the deer are much bigger bodied than they are on my lease.

I hunt ag land in NEA. We grow some monster deer in this area. Growing up hunting the hills I saw a lot of small bodied deer but where I'm at now a 4.5 year old deer will outweigh me. Killed an 8pt this year that weighed 197, same stand last year a 185 pound 10pt. Both were 3.5, the previous year I killed a 5.5 plus that went well over 200, didn't weigh that one.

On a side note I have a 1.5 year old 8pt on camera that I can't wait to see how he develops.

Biggest rack on a yearling I've ever seen. That dude would've been a monster in 2 years. Can't imagine if he made it to 5-6.

Weird.

Eta...I don't care what the guy kills. And if he hasn't watched a lot of deer, size can be hard to judge, especially with that rack. I wouldn't put it on FB though lol

This, if I shot that thing and it qualified for a big buck registry with that body you are darn right I'd put it in there. That's one of the most unique bucks I've ever seen.

I'd mount the heck out of that thing too, it'd look like a jackelope on the wall.

If you kill a deer by legal, ethical means, it is fine by me. I can remember a time before tv shows on hunting when we hunted for meat. Big bucks were admired but not the goal. If you are into horns, fine. I like to shoot deer. I like to eat deer. That being said to each his own. Good hunting to all.
