Post worthy if only to show evidence of munchkin deer species.

I've hunted in Arkansas for a long time....those munchkin deer are real. I'd swear to it

maybe the guy was just proud? I dont shame anyone for what they kill. If they are happy with it, thats all that matters. Everyone is not as fortunate to have thousands of acres, or high fence to let deer grow. Life is too short to say "ill let it grow a year" and hunt small acres only to have your neighbor shoot it. It doesnt seem like this guy was bragging or boasting, just happy with his kill.

If a person shoots a young 8 point and is proud of it then I don't begrudge them one bit. However, i will point and laugh at him for submitting it to a Facebook page designed for showing off big bucks.

Leaf River WMA here.

I have 40 acres of loblollies near Leaf in Desoto NF. The 8 pts I've killed there were both small. I like it that way because, no 4 wheeler, so dragging is easy!

A kill is a kill.

The level of satisfaction in a deer kill is relative.

If I had hunted a peice of land where the herd is scarce and I had not seen anything I would be stoked about that deer.

I hunted an old lady's cow feild next to a river for a couple years. I had not seen a deer on that land much less a buck.I killed a small 8 pernt with a muzzle loader on day. To this day I look at that little basket rack every once in a while with way more fondness than two big deer I have mounted from big leases.

I don't care what he killed, but to post that on a big buck page is asking for it

Seeing as I hunt public land and its so rare to even see a deer, I would've taken the shot on that deer too. Just wouldn't have posted it on Facebook to the Big Buck Registry

Bucks bodies run small in Ark. Weve killed and handful of fully mature deer. All under 150 and one was 105. Just makes the rack look even bigger lol.

Where at? I'm in a pine lease (Calhoun County) and our 3.5 year old bucks weigh 140-160. They are close to maxed out body wise though. Our 4.5+ bucks rarely weigh more than 165-170.

My cousin did kill a 130" 9 point that was 5.5 and was a dwarf. It had short legs and it's body was the length of a 1.5 year old. It weighed right around 130lbs.

Really, hes killed more than most people in america. Hes out hunting and is proud of it, so he put it all over facebook if he wants. Some places dont have big deer.

Sure it's relative in his club. Maybe his neck of the woods, or maybe his region. Just becaus T-Boy thinks his 12 sandwich eating heifer of a wife is the prettiest thing ever. Doesnt mean he needs to send her glamour shots into playboy

Don't know the counties of Arkansas that well but my dad killed one of the biggest deer he's ever killed in Yell County and it was a solid 215+. Granted it was rutting but it scored a gross 155.
