99% sure I'm ordering a Yugo today. Anywhere else I should check besides Atlantic firearms?

Before my tragic boating accident, I had gotten one from centerfiresystems.com. Its worth a look at least.

It was something I noticed at times with my Yugo RPK. I would try putting your nose closer to the dust over first, then go from there if it bothers you. AKs are generally intended to be fired with your face closer to the dust covers anyway, the high comb on the Yugos just makes it uncomfortable if you don't.

You may find it a little cheaper somewhere else, but that deal that Tear it Up got from Atlantic Firearms is pretty good since it comes with 3 extra mags and a sling. That's about a $40 added value.

I have a yugo under folder similar to this one and my only compliant is the Magpul mags won't work. I paid $675 for it.

I have an OPAP and Magpul mags work fine.

I think I am going to get that YUGO as well and put on a set of these so they are all the same wood and color.

If you're more of a purist, they have some great battlefield pick up furniture sets out there.

Changing wood is easy, just stain it to the color you like.

Thats what im thinking and not really worried about how the yugo is not standard AK stuff. But looking on ar15.com and they seem to like the current wasr10s over the yugos. Claiming the npaps have declined in quality vs the wasrs getting better. im sure either will be more than good for me.

Can't say I've handled a very recent N-Pap, but the newer WASRs are pretty nice. They are much nicer than the older WASRs I've handled.

I have the same Century as you posted. Was at Academy a while back getting new braid for my reels and strolled by the gun counter. They had it for 649 I think. I've run hundreds of rounds through it and it's been great. I prefer it to my AR.

Especially for only $50! I have it on my Yugo krink right now but will eventually have one on most of my AKs.

My ears are hurting just looking at that picture. Ouch.

It's a bit loud, haha. I'll probably switch the manticore brake out for a Bulgarian 4 piece at some point so my friends will stop calling me an a-hole every time I shoot next to them at the range.

Anytime I've shot an SBR with a big muzzle brake I always feel like I'm going to crack a tooth from the concussion.

Atlantic has suspended sales until the 27th to try to catch up with all the orders

I wound up finding a new 15 wasr10 left and got that and also the c39v2 to try out.

My Yugo from Atlantic should arrive on Friday.

Where did you find the WASR10 and how much was it? Looking at AKFiles forums that seems to be the most popular model.

Someone on that site said preppers had a few left so I talked to them. Listed at 699 but talked them into 650 shipped I actualy got a 2nd today for backup but he told me he got fussed so did 699 shipped with the other. Also got 6 metal mags that hold the bolt open on the last round. I think they still have some AKs left.
