Because internet access on the cruise ship is very expensive. I think his other thread was saying it's at least 79 cents a minute for access(or more).

hop on the boat on Monday. Must stay on for the duration (next 4 months, damn near). All expenses paid for, won't cost you 1 penny to see the world.

Cannot really contact your family for 4 months though (maybe a couple texts, but that's it). Cannot cook your own food, and must eat prepared meals every single meal for 15 weeks.

Been there, done that on one of these:

If it's all paid for and I'm not getting fired, absolutely. Why wouldn't you?

I would. Too many responsibilities at home unfortunately.

I also would miss my family.

I travel at my discretion, not someone else's.

I'd like to say I would do it but the reality is that I could not stay away from my business for that long. it would be easy to keep in touch with people although expensive.

Cruise ships have wifi and you can purchase international phone service if you desire.

Friend of mine went on that same cruise last year, in one of the Pinnacle suites (along with his wife). It will set you back a ton of money.

If I can still keep the job I just got, then I would.

I would absolutely do it.
That last week with no ports would be miserable though.

Probably if its relatively safe, but I would want a lot more details before I said for sure or not.
