In addition to the guy that seems incapable of pronouncing the letter T I also cannot stand Deke. Deke is an arrogant a-hole and constantly talks down to callers in an effort to belittle them. What rational programing manager would keep someone on the radio that the callers dislike and who also appears to dislike the callers/listeners? Why would anyone call into that show?

What is going in with Deke? When he first came on the air a caller asked him why he was trying to speak with a horrible fake country accent. The guy said he and Deke went to school together in metairie. Deke became enraged and I laughed my arse off. Does anyone know if this is true?

Garland is straight up terrible. In terms of his presentation, topic selection and interaction with guests.

You try 990 am with Karee Johnson and his band of idiots. A bunch whiney liberals pretending to be balanced. I listen to them sometimes just for laughs. The entire program schedule consist of bashing WWL. Sometimes Inbetween they will talk sports.

I don't know if that call happened but I know for a fact he is from Amite. We have some of the same friends. He is actually pretty disappointing. When he first started he had a lot of promise. But when buddy died and he was no longer mentoring deke he became combative with callers.

I always thought Dele was a product of Independence or maybe Tickfaw.
He's a total fricking a-hole on the air. Maybe he's actually an intelligent, thoughtful and considerate human being who loves God, America and his family, but I hate that prick.

Amite actually sounds right, now that you mention it. I was pretty sure he was from that area of Tangipahoa north of Hammond.

Deke is from Amite, but I did hear that he spent some time in his youth in Metry.

Tom Fitzmorris needs his old time slot back on WWL. I don't care for the 3WL signal and his 12-3 slot. He was better when it was 3-6 on WWL.

Deke and The American Dream Dusty Rhodes need to do a 2 hour show on wrestling once a week since they sound alike.

Scoot....please. I love his voice, it's one of the radio voices of my teen years. But he's no talk show host, on the whole. If you disagree with him, you are "ranting." ALTHOUGH, and I love how this has to kill him, he does well with the home-building/DIY show on Saturday mornings.
