I have no experience with Wegmans. No idea where I would find one.

People in Houston go nuts for HEB but Kroger is cheaper and Randall's is more pleasant.

No doubt Kroger is cheaper, it shows. Their stores are crap and attracts Dollar Store shoppers

The stores and clientele at Kroger are fine in Katy where I shop.

I had a Cuban sandwich from Publix last night. The one by me just got a new cast iron sandwich press and it is awesome.

I prefer HEB to Publix. It's so weird that the Dallas area doesn't have any.

I mostly shop at Kroger, but we do have Central Market(owned by HEB and just like a Whole Foods), Market Street, which are pretty good. I don't like that the bag boy is forced to push the cart out to the car and load it even when I am that he not do so. I'm a man, I can push my own cart. Asked the kid and he said his manager is always watching and he'd get in trouble.

(HEB or Publix?) HEB has several dozen sites under contract in the D/FW area but I'm not sure of their buildout schedule.

The HEB near my house has a great selection of produce but I normally shop at Kroger for basics. HEB is even better for milf watching than Whole Foods.

When I lived in Huntsville we shopped at Publix on Hwy 72-until Kroger built a new store and totally blew Publix out of the water.

Publix stores and no state income tax are about the only two things the state of Florida has going for it. Publix is great, the best grocery chain I've ever encountered.

Publix is super fricking expensive. Were you on drugs when you came to FL?

Publix is like the Chic-Fil-A of Supermarkets.

Great customer service.

Mainly because my brain processes it as Pubic ( ) every time I see it.

I'm pretty sure that's the only thing holding us back. Sorry, folks, but I am working on it.

and can catch the BOGO deals.

Plus, they take anybodies coupons and you can double down (meaning, use a local competitors coupon and a manufacturers coupon on the same item)
My wife looks for those deals, which is why I'll never run out of shaving gel, clothes detergent or bodywash in this life or the next one.

I'll add that I'd gladly pay a few extra $ to shop where the people are genuinely nice. Good to see so many have discovered the chicken tender sandwich from Publix. It is amazing.

not sure if serious.

The new Rouse's stores are really nice and very comparable to Publix. Some of the older ones no so much.
