At least call him out for whether or not he feels they are "a part or "apart" of the problem.

Yea no need to even try to develop new and more efficient ways to produce food. If it didn't come straight from my garden then it's poison.

Whole Foods is a bourgeoisie concept. It's a reaction to a bad food system and plays within those bounds causing overpriced goods. WF is not the problem at all, it's just they're not really the solution, and if you're not the solution you're a part of the problem.

What the author, in his efforts to sound contrarian, fails to note is is the distinction between new health trends like supplements (the pseudoscience) and legitimate healthy dietary staples. For example, he criticizes the probiotic aisle. While probiotic supplements and pills may not be rooted in hard evidence, a probiotic diet heavy in things like yogurt and kimchi is extremely healthy for you. All he needed to do was criticize the consumer's over-reliance on things which they tend to view as magical pills and elixirs (in lieu of a healthy, basic diet) but instead he just wanted to troll and smear an entire segment of the population.

I like my once a month trip to whole foods and I think in many cities they provide a superior product than most stores.

I have only had one problem in one of their stores. Some guy that I could only guess to be sleepy tiger decided he was going to take out his small dick and small brain frustration out on the guy working the seafood counter.

The arse licker started by asking the guy where they getting a certain type of fish. He apparently didn't care what the answer was going to be because he started into his speech about them lying about their fish and selling produce that had been sprayed with those dirty chemicals and shite.
I thought for brief moment about screaming at the guy to get a life and get the frick out if he had nothing better to do than to argue with the damn guy trying to make a living selling seafood.

Is is really a problem though? Maybe I'm blind to all the outrage, but I just dont see where there's a problem just competing lifestyles.

In Baton Rouge, the difference in quality of products is pretty clear. WF has a great selection of meats (not as much seafood) and at a decent price. Sometimes you cant get what you're looking for fresh not frozen in lets say Albertsons.
