Parades are kind of stupid.

I don't really care for it.

Then again I don't really care about tailgating either.

I guess I was born in the wrong state.

Considering Louisiana is 49th in everything that may not be a bad thing.

I participate about every 5 years. That's usually enough to hold me over for awhile. All that shite they throw annoys me.

Love me some Mardi gras.

First one I missed in 28 years. I really don't understand what you mean by trashy though. Not all Mardi gras is bourbon street and hand grenades.

I don't hate it. I just can't stand being in a crowd of people and watching adults fighting over a cheap pair of beads. Whenever I went to the parades in New Orleans I would give what I caught to some young child who was standing near me. We used to watch the parades on St. Charles. You really don't see trashy people on St. Charles. I went to Mardi Gras in the French Quarter just once and I'll never go to the Quarter during Mardi Gras ever again. You see enough trash in the Quarter to last you a lifetime.

Don't like it. And I like to party in a lot of different environments and places.

Mardi gras is insanely crowded, dirty, and lacks very many hot women with a terrible ratio of girls to guys in the quarter.

Been to it a couple of times. No desire to do it again with so mny better options where I live.

I don't hate Mardi Gras. But I don't necessarily miss it since I moved out of LA.

I used to tell people that Mardi Gras is French for 'a million drunks'.

When I'm in my tux tonight sipping Jonnie Walker Blue Label, I'll remember all of Mardi Gras is trashy.

Having traveled the world, I appreciate this unique spectical. On Ash Wednesday I pray and start 40 days of living without certain things to get closer to God. Prior to that I have a great time at the Fat Tuesday parties.

Feel free to stay far away from everything MardiGras.

I live on the opposite side of the state from New Orleans so our mardi gras isn't as bad as new orleans'. We go to three parades- merchants, children's and crew of crews. I'm not catholic (anymore) so I have no reason to participate other than my kids.

Favorite part of mardi gras- king cakes. That's about it. I drink bottled beer so I can't go to parades unless I have a plastic cup and that just makes the beer taste bad so when the parade is over, I go home.

Indifferent is my vote I guess.
