Why is race even on application forms? For a country that claims to want equality we sure do spend a lot of time looking for our differences.

in fact:
white male drop out median annual income (2011) $29,200
black male bachelor's degree annual income (2011) $45,300
The same report did point out that white males with out a HS diploma have an employment rate comparable to black males with some college (no degree). And in general, whites have a higher employment rate than blacks with the same level of education (as measured by degree attained).
However, neither of these stats are evidence of institutional racism.
