Well then. How on Earth would you even know?

Do you think that people who are in open marriages(or who swing, there's a difference ya know) run around with signs on their heads announcing it to everyone?

No need to go there just because we disagree with you.

That's all it really takes... once. You don't ever consider your wife having an "oops" moment
Actually, no.

Here's why. The girl who forgets to take the pill two days and then gets back on but is only fooling around with hubby thinks, "no big deal".

If my wife were to forget for two days to take the pill, there would be ZERO playing!!! She doesn't want to get pregnant.

And, that's not the only BC being used.

As to some other girl, already addressed.

That it's natural to have sexual desires/attraction to other people besides your spouse.

Open marriages are not for me (I have a hard time picturing my wife with another man), but for some couples, it may be essential to their relationship.

Swingers are for the most part, HYPER careful.

I'd say the goings on at your local night club on Friday night create a SUBSTANTIALLY greater likelihood of STDs.

IF you've seen the ONE pic of my wife that I posted on here, it was from the back and she is 5'4", 115lbs and 30 years old in it(33 now)

So, you're just being an arse.

Okay, but what does that have to do with monogamy?

These thing are in fact natural but how does that make the concept of monogamy any less realistic.

I can look at a woman and think that she is sexually desirable, without any real interest in having sex with her, because of my love and commitment to my wife.

Perhaps we are just looking at his statement in different ways. I personally took it to mean that he was saying that monogamy was unrealistic.

Whatever consenting adults want to do is cool, but the potential to pick up a disease would be an issue.

Studies show that as many as 70% of spouses admitted to having cheated on their current spouse during their relationship.

And, I'm guessing in a great many of those cases, the secrecy meant that "protection" wasn't exactly high on the list of issues.

Gotcha. I actually misread your post. I thought you were implying that any sexual attraction towards a non-spouse is bad (we can't control that)

I am a resource hoarder. As a result, seeing another guy with my wife would invite competition.

Also, it was hard enough finding one oxford dictionary in the streets and urban dictionary in the sheets. I can't imagine having to put in the work to find another.

My wife and I have a simple understanding, we do not break trust. She is the only relationship I have ever been 100% monogamous in. It has been worth it.

I was in quite a few open relationships before marriage. All ended up in awkward threesomes or epic violent ends. Sometimes both. I was always jealous, but in control, the women not so much.

Seeing two women transition from embracing to a cat fight is like watching a puppy die.

I know. It does. Even among swingers.

I've seen swingers who can't handle it. It's good if they bail.

Not for everyone.

That has to be an awkward car ride home. And, as has been said in here already, you can't un-ring a bell.
