I've got a guy that just wears my shoes when I'm not wearing them to make sure everything stays shaped right.

Supposedly stretches the shoe too much.

I have several of the Allen Edmonds brand ones, but the last time I bought a pair of shoes I went cheap and got the trees they sell at Target. They are cedar, but not split like the ones pictured.

The shoes I keep on the cheap ones have held up just as well as the ones on the more expensive trees.

Fine leather shoes should be rotated and put away with cedar shoe trees.
