Adam Carolla talks about this all the time. I can't remember what animal he uses. It I think he says he's gonna bring an emotional support pelican on a plane and put this all to rest.

My wife asked me what I wanted for Christmas and I told her a pet Orangatang and even found a website that will deliver.....wife poopoo the idea.

My plan was to teach it to Squirrel hunt with a club but I guess back to the drawing board.

frick an orangutan, you should ask for a penguin. Could you imagine how badass that would be to have a friggin penguin for a pet?

Well that's just ridiculous....how is the penguin gonna knock the squirrel out of the tree?

Just build a little penguin catapult so he can get up in the tree.

She doesn't need the dog.

They are very useful for severe anxiety, ptsd, and epilepsy.

It's very easy to get a dog approved for anxiety to go on planes and such. I don't even think you need a doctor's note anymore. Just a couple hundred bucks and a the right form.

Could work, but I also couldn't drink beer with a penguin.

That's the other perk with an Orangatang

What exactly are these dogs trained to do? I know an older guy who has one. Saw him recently at an event (a casual indoor presentation/party) and he was just sitting and watching the presentation with the dog laying at his feet. A little girl kept coming up and trying to pet the dog, the dog was wagging its tail and doing happy dog things, and the guy kept telling the little girl she couldn't pet the dog because "he is working." The little girl was clueless. It seemed like such a dick move to the little girl and the dog. I really wanted to just blurt out, "No, he's not - he's just laying there."

There are a lot of veterans with PTSD that have service dogs for anxiety. Why do you hate veterans?

My old landlords daughter had epilepsy so they were able to get a service dog, this dog was there for comfort and I think could detect when she was fixing to have a seizure

I see this everywhere. It's getting crazy. About 7 months ago at Home Depot a small dog in the basket snapped at me when I turned the corner to go down an isle. The woman apologized. The dog didn't bit me but I thought it was really weird. It wasn't a service dog, just woman carrying her dog in the basket. I went to the manager to complain. The manager said we have a sign that states to not bring your pet inside, and if the dog bites you it's not our responsibility. I laughed and said the wrong person will be sitting on a few millions bucks over a simple dog bite. I swear I don't get this "I wanna bring my dog everywhere" kinda thing. Maybe the pet G-raff would really get their attention.

Note to self (when I get my service Orangatang): Make sure to let people pet my monkey.

Service dogs aren't just for blind people.

But, a lot of people claim anxiety who really just want to have their pet with them. It's sad really. I love my dogs very much, but I do have respect for other people.

So you'll get a monkey to occupy people interested in your Orangutan?

Well, while its in the tree trying to bash the squirrels I will shoot any squirrels that run from him.

The close proximity of the shooting the squirrels will probably lead to some PTSD for the Orangatang.

So it would only we fair to provide my Service Orangatang a service monkey for his own problems.

I want a dog-sized comfort pony like Gary from the TD Ameritrade commercials.

I would feed him hay and oats and call him George.
