Not talking about the money. But just the work and the atmosphere.

Back in the day, I was a delivery boy for a printing shop downtown.

1. Pizza delivery boy for dominos about 15 years ago. Job had a lot of additional perks. Made around $100/night. Not bad for a single guy.

2. Installing underground telephone cable. Work was hard, but got to do my own shite in my own time. I think I only made about $60/day....nearly 20 years ago......but not bad for a 16 year old.

ETA: job above was a summer job with my dad.

Worked at a little water slide park the summer before my freshman year of college. Basically just told people when they could go down the slide. Hot lifeguards, lots of after parties, best summer of my life.

Don't necessarily miss it...but I had so much fun when I was a cocktail waitress at the Belle when I was in nursing school.

But...I was a student as well. Less bills and responsibilities in life...so I'm sure that played a huge factor in it.

But yeah...worked with a bunch of awesome girls. Group of us would hurry up and change after we all got off at 11 pm on Friday and Saturday nights and go out together. Those were some really fun times. And the casino itself was some trashtastic people watching opportunities as well.

I was a runner for a law firm. Made deliveries, deposited checks, even served a summons.

Pretty cool job. Got to meet and talk with lawyers and judges all over. Delivered hundreds of bottles of wine at Christmas time.

Bartending in college at The Tiger when it first opened was fun.

I installed hvac systems at construction sites one year, boss was cool as shite, laid out what needed to be done by end of day/week and if we finished early he paid us for the whole time.

Used to keep score at some softball league in Elmwood when I was about ten.
Made ten bucks a game and did three games each Saturday.
Took that money and went to the fun arcade on vets every Sunday

16 to18 when I graduated high school I was a field maintenance guy at the ballpark. Work was awful, it was hot as balls, but I made $10/hr cash and got to look at smokin hot baseball moms all day. I'd pull about $400 in cash Friday-Sunday working like 16 hour days. For a high school gig, it was pretty cool

Worked a bullshite job after I got out of the military for a year or so detailing aircraft at a heliport in Lafourche Parish. Pay was god awful, but the people I worked with were cool, we worked 3pm-3am and were finished up with everything we had to do by 11 pm at the latest, which was especially nice when the Tarpon rodeo was going on in Grand Isle
