Between 2001 and 2003.

Rarely missed Wednesday night swiller nights. Long islands and orlando magics (some green specialty drink iirc)

Pizza delivery.. I just rode around, smoked bud, listened to music, and made people happy by bringing their food. Most of my tip money got pumped into video poker and heated NBA Jam games back at the pizza joint. My best friend was my manager. It was stress free good times.

Semolinas BR. Early-mid 2000s. Great job - lots of fun. Didn't make much money but it didn't matter.

Which location? I worked at the one on Coursey from around September 1998 till May 1999.

Left there as soon as I turned 21 and could start working at the Belle. I didn't enjoy that job as much as I did the cocktail waitressing. I hated having to portion out pasta every morning if you worked the first shift as well. Also...at the Belle since the drinks were free...they had no way to track what you made in tips. I could have made $600 in tips that night and I was only claiming I made $50.

I did enjoy the discount at Semolina's for food...enchilada pasta was my go to

Back in the 80's I worked as a bartender for a wedding reception place in Metairie while in college... Owners were the nicest people ever.. Not only did I meet a bunch of arse at receptions, the owner would let a bunch of college kids stay after work so we could play cards and drink as much as we wanted...

I think I made 3.75 an hour, plus tips...

Owners also threw us a Christmas party with bonus checks, and a crawfish boil in the spring...

Great times... All the guys there became good friends.. During the summer, if we weren't working, we were either water skiing on the Tchefuncte, or out drinking at all the Uptown bars...

I used to sell and install CRT video projectors (for you Millennials and GenXers those had a red, a blue and a green projected light, and had to be aligned so the three images would be perfectly aligned to produce a good picture). My clients were strip clubs. I either got paid in cash or in cash and pussy.

I always went in high on the price so I could have some bargaining room.

I worked on the sales floor at Circuit City. I was a teenager who was getting paid pretty good money to configure and talk about stereo equipment.

Medical records clerk. Copied medical records and sent them to Attorneys for cases.

Not suppose to pay to close attention to what you copy, but you have to sometimes to get the info they want. Wouldn't believe how many pages are in a someone's medical record if they stay a few days with some bad shite.

There was one that I'll never forget copying for. It was a murder at a sportswear store off of Greenwell springs rd by Airline.

Also, being a manager at Just for Feet long ago. Fun group just too much work on Saturdays for a young guy.

Bartended at two pretty well known br joints. First a restaurant, then later a bar.

Made more money than uncle Sam will ever know about and got more pussy than I ever could have dreamed.

Jealous!

If I ever win a massive powerball...I would quit my job and move to San Diego. And go cuddle baby animals at the San Diego zoo nursery all day.

My first job was at the original Carter's in Denham. I made about $5/hour, and they gave us $3 lunch/snack allowance. They also gave every employee a free turkey for Thanksgiving and Christmas. My last year there they hosted an employee Christmas party and gave us $50 bonuses. I felt so rich! The Carters are damn good people.

I loved working at a video rental store for $5.50/hour during my junior and senior year of high school. That paid my way to spring break in Panama City.

taught water skiing at an all girls camp for 3 summers. There were 7 male staff and 50 female staff. It was a great job on the water and the female staff was a great perk.
