My wife calls my man room "downstairs" when it's really just a 3 step drop. Like, you tard, you can't go around saying "downstairs" when it's not a staircase. It's always bothered me.

I used to cut rice with a guy who was inbred. His older brother's sister was his mother. Or said another way, the dad and his daughter had him. That alone is pretty bad, but man, you wouldn't believe the shite this guy would do. He smoked a pack and a half a day, but he wasn't allowed to smoke in the boss's truck. Sometimes he would sit in the back to smoke. Other times, he'd sit in the cab, but when they got out, he would light up two, presumably one for the one he missed on the ride over. He frequently would smoke two cigs ( "fat boy" he would call it) at the same time. But he sometimes dabbled with "Trippler Cripplers," "Killer Quads," or, my favorite, "5 cigarettes at one fricking time" because he couldn't really come up with a name for that one.
So smoking isn't trashy. And smoking multiple cigarettes at once? That's just saving time. This motherfricker was so hard up for a cigarette one time, he rolled grass from the rice field in a sheet of notebook paper and smoked it. But, to top that, he, his mother, and his brother decided they were spending too much money on cigarettes. To cut back, they bought balloons and rubber bands. They exhaled their smoke into the balloons and re-inhaled it later. They quit doing this because it was "too stale" and went back to buying more cigarettes, which they all kept in the freezer because "they smoke better that way."
This man didn't have much going for him. The deck was stacked against him from the start. Giving him odd jobs around the farm and a couple hundred bucks a week was actually a charity case. But damn it, that dude could make some homemade apple wine.
So I guess the trashiest thing in this post is that I used to drink that guy's homemade apple wine.

Does Rex go by "Boo" or "Boo Boo?"

When I was with a trashy down the road girl in St. Bernard (who I knocked up and had to marry), she had a friend around 19 or 20. Had about 8 abortions, got knocked up again, miscarried, and kept the fetus in her freezer. I can't imagine anything trashier. On a side note, I once set her up with one of my best friends who was getting his doctorate in Organic Chemistry at Tulane. They didn't hit it off. Big surprise there.

I have a distant cousin that we found out left her kid at home for hours 5 or 6 nights a week while she went out drinking and/or stripping.
She did this from the time the kid was born until he was about 4 years old.

I have a friend whose wife was a pill freak. She would make up excuses to stop by people's houses, then go to the bathroom and steal their medication. (Stole all of my wife's painkillers the day after she had a miscarriage.)
My friend (her husband) caught on and put her in rehab. She ended up fricking one of the other patients in the rehab facility while she was there.

Yep. Luckily, the kid seems to have turned out to be pretty normal.

While a couple of my posts might seem to indicate otherwise, I was always the good guy growing up. Straight A student, well off, didn't really drink much, never did any drugs - didn't even try weed - didn't believe in casual sex, etc. Then when I was a very naive 25 yr. old dentist fresh out of school, this good looking "down the road" girl came after me hard. She was 19, around 5'1" and 105 lbs., very flexible, killer body, etc. I couldn't resist this femme fatale, and within weeks I was trapped. Did the honorable thing and married her. That's where my best stories come from. For a year, I lived amongst those people. I look back on it as part adventure/part sociological experiment. But damn, those white trash people know how to work the system, and things most people wouldn't comprehend are just "a day in the life" for those people. When I hear people spouting their racist views on welfare recipients, all I can do is shake my head because the "stereotypes" ain't got nothing on true white trash.

west monroians john jones married julie jones and had a boy. later they split up. Julie married another guy named jones (jones2) and john married another julie(julie2). they did the kid custody swap at baseball practice/games on saturday, and often, julie2 would be dropping off when jones2 was picking up, because parents were working.
the next thing you know, jones2 and julie2 bolted at the same time and later had their own kid.
not real names because one of them was an in-law.
