where was this wreck at? I had an aunt that was in a similar accident when she was about 18 or so. Everyone died except her. Wasn't in BR though.

I watched someone slit their own throat. That's something you don't forget.

Joor Rd in Central. I say that I was 12-13 but I could have been 10. I don't remember exactly. Late 80s to early 90s.

Maybe lost his balance in soft asphalt and the driver wasn't paying attention? Guy looked like flat Stanley.

Saw a guy stab a serrated blade into a cutting board. His hand slipped down the blade and sliced all 4 of his fingers straight to the bone.

He turned ghost white, opened his hand and the blood poured...

Man run over by tractor trailer going very slow. Slipped. "Oh no".
Bump bump.

I put my coat over him and prayed over him while waiting for ambulance.

Dude at the gym was squatting an insane amount of weight. His knee gave out and the weight shifted....his knee and his lower leg went sideways.

The most gruesome thing I have ever seen and I can still hear the screams in my mind.

Live I’m not sure. On tv I saw the Kevin Ware deal as it happened and god damn.

I saw that live as well. That was the nastiest I've ever seen on television. In person, my dad cut his fingers off right through the middle knuckles on a table saw. Clean off. Three digits. I watched the surgeon close up the wounds.

Also shot myself up the fingernail with a nail gun. That kind of sucked. Luckily it was a trim nailer and not a framing gun.

Watched one guy OD

In the Navy I saw a guy slice his hand in half via the top of a can. Cut it from the webbing between middle/ring finger to the wrist

Jumped up or fell down? Also, slanted or flat concrete probably ends w same result.

Didn't witness the actual accident but I watched a Father carry his deceased six year old son into an emergency room after he was hit by a car while riding his bike. It was clear the child was gone and to see this man carry his whole world in his arms while crying, screaming, and moaning "my baby" repeatedly was more than I could take. I broke down myself and never got over witnessesing it. I still have nightmares about it till this very day.

Got damn, dude.

I'm crying reading this.

I watched a man walk into the tail rotor of a Bell 212 helicopter

Winner

Kids dying is parental horror but not gruesome per se.

First, answer your own question. That's how this works.

Second, as a child, I remember seeing a young little girl after she got hit by a baseball bat. She had walked onto the baseball field, somehow unnoticed, and caught the end of the swing across her cheek. I remember a flap of her cheek just flopping open. Thanks for reminding me. Now I wonder how this happened...from parents, to coaches, to players....maybe she ran, idk...but wtf

I spent several hours in a pediatric ER a couple yrs ago while my daughter was getting her broken arm aligned. I learned two things that night. 1) babys screaming is tough to take but parents screaming is on another level 2) the staff are stronger than me

My story. Saw a 16 yr old shop cleaner kid walk by as a sheet of glass was being moved..the sheet was tweaked and shattered and a shard took a fold skin from the top side of his head down the side. It just folded down. There was so much blood. Kid never came back but he did survive
