When do you have time to sit down and just relax??? I already have to get up way to early to get anything in before work. I get home after work (5:30 on a good day) and takeover duties with my son since my wife has been watching him all day. We put him to bed around 7ish and eat dinner. Then I spend a few hours with my wife before going to bed. I only get about 3 hours of down time on weekdays. My wife would kill me if I used half of that time on exercising. Plus I'd go insane without some wind down time.

Work out or run each day Mon-Fri after work.. and Beach volleyball at Mango's when that resumes.
I don't eat particularly healthy and my beer of choice is Budweiser. High metabolism.

I've tended to stay away from "protein" bars because they're typically junk. However these quest look legit and I may order some. What are the best flavors and cheapest site to purchase?

Mon and Wed I sleep in till 6 am, get my daughter ready and take her to school. Tues, Thursday and Friday I am up at 4:15 and getting in a session or two before work.
Generally, I am home about 4:30 or so from work so sometimes I run home, run 4 mile or so then pick my my daughter from school. Other times, i go for a quick run while my wife bathes her.
Each week is really different but it does take alot of coordination with my wife before of her work schedule as week. Exercising is my "down time" and does let me relax, but I've got a couple hours each night for family time and the weekends are always filled with social activities.

What is your routine?
M,W,F at the gym (run to and back home). T and Th, jr and I do some sort of cardio(mostly for him, we are working on his agility and quickness)
Eat- not the cleanest. I don't get bent out of shape when I eat a piece of king cake

I run 4 - 5 times/week, ~25 - 35 miles (per week, not each run). At least one of those days is interval training at a track. At least one of those days is also a repeated loop of the bridge and tunnel where I live, each loop is a little over 3 miles, typically we do 3 loops @ a 7:35 pace. The other runs vary in pace.
I do strength work once/week but I really need to start doing more.
Today for breakfast I ate fruit (satsumas, honey dew melon, pineapple). For lunch I'm having a green salad and baked potato. For supper, the same as lunch but I also add squash and black beans to the salad.

I actually find myself feeling better if I have only a little down time and use it to work out rather than using it just to do nothing.
I also don't have kids, not married, in school and basically sit and read for the majority of the day. Too much sitting.

This thread is good motivation for me. I lost 80 pounds by eating high protein, low fat foods and working out like a madman. I still run 7 miles every other day and lift weights, play racquetball, hike, etc., but I've been eating shitty foods lately.
I work out enough to burn it off and I'm not gaining weight, but reading about the fruits and veggies you guys are eating has inspired me to be more dedicated to what I consume.

Yes, we run over through the tunnel, down Grand Caillou Rd, over the bridge, down Barrow back to tunnel, repeat 3 times.

I do high intensity training 3 times a week and get in at least 5 weight sessions. I do 20 minutes of cardio after weights but don't count that cause it's really just to loosen up soreness

thats a good little hike!
I couldn't remember the tunnel having a pedestrian lane, but I guess they have to have something to access whatever they need to get to down there so...
