My parachute plane for all planes is fricking legit doe? Can I get a scruffy agrees with this?
Agree... i have always wonder since a kid why planes didn't have parachutes, hell if they could land a space capsule with chutes why not a plane, guess it makes too much sense.

They do have whole plane parachutes for small aircraft.

Put the panic parachute button in the cockpit with the pilot.

Put the panic parachute button in the cockpit with the pilot.
Scruffy thought you were talking about individual parachutes.
Scruffy supports both.

I'd rather know why so few planes have cupholders.

Think about a large jet liner costs millions to construct. A million dollar parachute may be costly but you sell that the plane has a parachute to the public and I guarantee they will pay a little more just knowing that if the shite hits the fan that the parachute will save their lives.

Cost is probably the biggest deterent in putting parachutes on all airplanes. I think you sell that the plane can survive a castropic failure with the parachute and the public will pay more per ticket. Spread those increased ticket sales over a couple years and BAM profit and no big lost in revenue in case there is an accidents but not sued and losing your arse with 250 deaths.

I feel as this is my calling tonight. Can you tell.
Forget about the parachute when it is hit by a missile. I got no backup plan for that.

small planes have airbags.
In the seat belts.
They tested for airliners as well.
Neither really implemented them.

Imagine if they had just put airbags around the World Trade Center! The planes would have bounced right off, amirite?
Posted on 7/29/15 at 7:32 pm to FLBooGoTigs1
A dirty secret is that airlines insure these planes for full replacement cost and it is very profitable for an airline if they "lose" a plane.
Posted on 7/29/15 at 7:32 pm to mailman
Why not transporters so we can be instantaneously beamed to our destination? No risk of plane or car crash.
Posted on 7/29/15 at 7:33 pm to FLBooGoTigs1
Works for small planes, Cirrus putsw them on all it's planes.
I think it could be done on a grander scale.
