Surprised with the number of people that had thier numbers assigned. We were always allowed to choose if the number you wanted was available

Both mine were just given to me and I kept em cause they fit my positions and I liked them. 15 in football and 1 in baseball.

Would've liked to have gotten #12 for both. But it was retired for baseball (Todd Walker) and like I said, it was assigned.

They let the juniors and seniors choose. I didn't have a favorite number, so I kept the one they had given me before.

31 - in southern Louisiana lsu baseball is about as big as you get. Wally was my favorite player on the team. I still remember I was playing in a fort of pillows and blankets in my room when I saw on the ESPN bottom line that he had passed. Broke my heart, I still put 31 on the bill of everyone of my ball caps
